The Passing Place
We were camping in St. Agnes and stopped at The Cornish Pizza Company for a bite to eat after a long day. We were very impressed! The menu choices were creative and they use local produce and fresh ingredients. Staff were friendly and happy to answer any questions (I’d not heard of one of the Cornish cheeses and also wanted to swap a topping) I’d definitely recommend the dough balls – they were to die for!! They were great answering questions about my allergies and I was impressed with the quality of ingredients and combination of flavours. We were so impressed that when we randomly met up with a friend the following day we just had to take them to the Cornish Pizza co! We drove up to the cliff top near the old tin mines and enjoyed epic pizza with a view and a couple of beers we’d bought from them too. The perfect end to the day!! 🙂
St Agnes is our favourite place to camp in Cornwall and we decided to take my family there a few years later too. A trip to The Cornish Pizza company was a must! My Mum was having some issues at the time with her diet and reacting to certain foods so she was avoiding gluten and wheat – good job the Cornish Pizza Co do an epic GF base. We just had to ring ahead and order it in advance. Not wanting to break tradition we took the fam up to the idyllic spot overlooking the sea because let’s face it, it doesn’t get much better than freshly made pizza on a cliff top with an incredible view and a cold Cornish beer in hand. Queue one of my fave pics of my Mum, the look of sheer joy on her face when holding a stack of hot pizza and knowing there was a tasty GF one in there for her too! Priceless.
