Homemade Oat Milk
Quick homemade oat milk 👌
The boy isn’t great with dairy and cow’s milk on its own is the worst for him. We started buying oat milk but when we realised the main ingredients were oats and water….made sense to make it! Especially as he has it for bed every night and we use it in place of cow’s milk when cooking for all 3 of us. In this video I’ve used gluten free muesli as that’s all we had in (had buckwheat, linseed and chai seeds in with the oats) but usually we just use normal oats.
This video explains the process and I’ve used that track all the cool kids are putting over their reels of insane views, plunge pools and influencer life. Because obviously making oat milk for my 2 year old, in the dated kitchen of our 3 bed semi in Preston is equally as glam 💁♀️🤣
Things you’ll need:
🥛1 cup oats
🥛1 litre water
🥛 Tsp nut butter (optional)
👩🍳 2 jugs (1 litre capacity)
👩🍳 Small sieve
👩🍳 Hand blender
👩🍳 Bottle to store in fridge
We just store in the fridge like normal milk, give it a shake before using. The oaty mush left in the sieve is great in porridge so don’t discard it. 😋
